Sustain your coating's brilliance, avoid abrasive cleaners, hand wash with pH-neutral soap, and schedule periodic professional inspections for optimal longevity.
Schedule Service

Washing

  1. Wash your vehicle or boat with recommended soaps for optimal results. Use a bi-weekly basis of No Rinse or any PH-neutral (mild) general-purpose cleaner to prevent excessive build-up of contamination.

  2. Minimize streaking and water spotting by avoiding washing in direct sunlight.

  3. Start washing from the top and work your way down, leaving the dirtiest sections for last to prevent cross-contamination.

Drying

  1. Always ensure thorough drying and avoid leaving the surface to “air” dry, as tap water minerals can cause deposits, leading to water spots.

  2. Opt for quality microfiber towels to achieve the best results. Avoid aggressive wiping and let the material absorb the water gently.

Spot Remover

  1. Avoid using harsh products for polishing the coating or eliminating surface contaminants.

  2. Refrain from applying excessive force while removing spots; consider using CCT Waterspot Remover.

  3. Promptly remove bird droppings, tar, sap, etc., to prevent temporary staining or hardening on the coating. Any residual stains from bird droppings will gradually diminish over a few days without impacting the coating.

After Washing

Avoid applying wax to the coating as it is unnecessary and won’t adhere properly. Instead, we recommend using our specialized maintenance product for optimal upkeep.

Brush Washing (Marine Only)

Always opt for a super soft brush or wash mitt to clean your boat. Avoid using a brush with stiff bristles to prevent warranty voidance and to preserve the coating’s shine. Additionally, allow a 2-week period for our ceramic coating to fully harden, refraining from washing the vehicle during this initial period.

Vinyl and Fabric Maintenance Program (Marine Only)

  1. To maintain optimal conditions, clean leather/vinyl surfaces bi-weekly with a gentle detergent to prevent build-up and retain their natural appearance.

  2. Vacuum carpets regularly and use suitable cleaners for carpets and fabrics as needed.

  3. Quickly wipe off spills from leather, vinyl, or fabric surfaces to prevent staining.

Annual Inspections

Annual inspections are essential to maintain the gloss and protection of your vehicle or vessel. While the ceramic coating and paint protection film are durable, these inspections ensure their longevity.

  1. Inspections should be conducted by Ceramic Coat Texas within 30 days before the anniversary of the last service to uphold the warranty.

  2. Failure to undergo an annual inspection within this timeframe will nullify the warranty.

  3. An inspection fee, determined by Ceramic Coat Texas, covers an Exterior Wash, Decontamination, and Inspection.
