Booking and Cancellation Policy
To secure your appointment, Ceramic Coat Texas requires a 20% non-refundable booking fee upon scheduling. This fee reserves your slot and is deducted from your final bill after service completion. An invoice for the booking fee will be sent via email or text. Once paid, your appointment will be confirmed, and you will receive a notification.
Life can be unpredictable, and we understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 7 days in advance. You are allowed one reschedule within 30 days without incurring an additional booking fee. However, if you cancel without providing a 7-day notice or fail to show up for your appointment, the booking fee will be forfeited.
Payment Policy
Upon scheduling, the 20% non-refundable booking fee must be settled. The remaining payment is expected on the date of service. We accept various payment methods, including cash, major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), ACH, Affirm, Afterpay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Please refrain from leaving any payments in the vehicle for security reasons. Note that all credit card payments will incur a 3.5% “Administrative Fee.”
Service Agreement Terms
Before accepting a job, Ceramic Coat Texas requires an in-person consultation with you and your vehicle to determine the total cost and estimate the duration of service. Any over-the-phone cost or time estimates may be subject to adjustment after a visual inspection of your vehicle. If the vehicle’s condition changes between the inspection and the scheduled appointment, service costs may be revised, and your approval will be sought before starting work.
If you have specific or additional requests, please communicate them when the service order is being prepared. Any modifications or adjustments made after the initial service order may incur additional charges. Changes to the original service package order must be mutually agreed upon in writing before any extra work commences. Any alterations to fees or time, whether verbal or written, will not void this agreement, and all terms will remain applicable with the adjusted rate and/or duration.
Paint Correction, Polishing & Scratch Removal
Paint correction involves rectifying defects on the vehicle’s paint surface. While we strive to minimize scratches, some may be too deep for safe removal. Our approach prioritizes caution to avoid removing excessive clear coat, as preserving it is crucial. If the clear coat is compromised, repainting may be necessary.
Each vehicle requires different levels of labor to achieve optimal appearance. Due to this individuality, providing a flat-rate price over the phone or internet is not feasible, as each vehicle’s needs vary.
Pre-Existing Damages Disclaimer and Release of Responsibility
During the initial inspection, it may be challenging to identify all pre-existing damages. Some interior components may show signs of deterioration without immediate notice. If we identify worn, scratched, cracked, faded, or broken items, we will inform you. By agreeing to our services, you release Ceramic Coat Texas from liability for any pre-existing damages.
Dirt and grime may conceal imperfections like swirl marks, scratches, dings, and paint chips. If exterior flaws are identified during the inspection, they will be documented. However, correcting these pre-existing issues is not included in the service. In the process of paint correction, further defects may surface. Ceramic Coat Texas cannot be held responsible for these pre-existing paint imperfections, including those that become more visible after correction.
Removal of Personal Items
Please remove all personal items before your appointment. While we handle your vehicle with the utmost care, we cannot be held responsible for any belongings left inside.
Child Seats
For safety and liability reasons, we do not remove or reinstall child or booster seats. Please remove them before your appointment. If a car seat is left inside, we will clean around it to the best of our ability but cannot guarantee complete satisfaction.
Vehicle Battery
Leaving doors, tailgate, trunk, or hood open for extended periods during the service may cause the battery to discharge. If necessary, we may use a battery charger or disconnect the battery to maintain its charge.
Service Time Policy
Service times are estimates only. The time required to complete the agreed-upon services may vary, taking more or less time than initially anticipated. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.
